INTRODUCTION

ITEX brings together the latest inventions and innovations by universities, research institutions, individual inventors and corporations from the ASEAN countries, Asia and Europe - A gathering of local and international inventors and scientists from the science and technology fraternity.

This annual event is the region’s most sought-after marketplace and the ideal meeting point for inventors and investors to explore business ideas and to commercialise an invention/ new product.

Organised by MINDS (Malaysian Invention and Design Society), and now in its 23rd year, ITEX is also the platform for inventors and their inventions to be recognised at several prestigious Awards at ITEX. With that, it maximizes exposure for award-winning products and technologies to a global audience.

This year, ITEX continues to organise the concurrent inclusion of the Asian Young Inventors Exhibition 2012 (AYIE 2012). Made to stir young minds, AYIE 2012 consists of a spirited line-up of young inventors from the ages of 20 years and below.
